I’ve had my riding boots for eight years, and they keep getting better with every passing season. I love that I have never had to replace them and that they’re timeless. I think that they’re something worth investing in, especially if you fall in love with a pair. But I do understand that everyone has different budgets. There are some super adorable options out there no matter what you end up spending.
I’m impressed by Old Navy’s $52 pair and this lace-up pair for under $200. And these are a little different than what I’d go for, but I kind of think they’d be perfect for cozy fall days.
LOVE this new collage style — it’s super convenient to be able to scroll over each boot and see its price! Awesome!!
Agreed!
I was going to say the same thing! You do such a great job with these kinds of posts, Carly! Keep em coming!

If you’ve got wide calves, these are awesome. First pair I’ve found that I can fit comfortable over both my calves and a pair of skinny jeans.

Riding boots are 100% an investment piece, but when they are such a classic look you can’t go wrong!!
Great picks! I’d love to see you style them 😀 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
Dang, I wish I had this post last week! I’ve been scouring the web for weeks looking for the perfect pair…fortunately, I finally found the one at DSW – under $200, leather, cognac-colored and beautiful. 🙂 But this is still so helpful for my friends/sisters who are on the hunt at the moment! Thanks!
Hi Carly! Great post – riding boots are my favorite part about the weather getting cooler. I was wondering how you take care of yours? Do you bring them to a cobbler, do you polish them yourself? I have had mine for a couple of years and I want them to last as long as possible! Thanks!!
I take them to a cobbler. I get them “weatherized” (not sure if that’s the correct term?) and if I need to, I get them re-soled.
All of these boots are amazing!
