Guest Post: Business Attire by Dara

College Prepster Notes:  I’ve been receiving lots of emails and questions about what to wear to interviews and recruiting events and other events that require business attire.  I figured it was time to bring in an expert, someone who is well-versed, and could do a better job than me!  Thanks Dara!!! ***** If you are anywhere near a college…

Dressing for Your Body Type

One thing that I’ve really learned over the years is the importance of dressing for your body type. For years, I struggled with finding clothes that fit properly. And by years… I mean essentially my whole life. Seriously, since birth… I giant when I was born so I’m sure that I wasn’t fitting into any newborn…

MY DIY CANE DRESS

I wanted to share all the details about this cane dress I recently sewed so it’s all under “one roof” so to speak. And I also was able to take some photos while wearing it on Nantucket last week with the super talented Georgie, so I really wanted to share. If you’ve been following along…

Thanksgiving is a couple of weeks away, and I can’t wait to spend the week with family in Tampa. I’m deciding between a couple of dresses to wear for Thanksgiving dinner. Nantucket Bike Ride

I know, I know… another navy and white dress! I’ve actually have had this dress since last year, but I don’t think it ever made it onto the blog. If you follow me on Snapchat though, you’ll probably recognize it as it’s one of the easiest dresses to throw on and I wear it frequently.

This dress is amazing for traveling and packing. There’s a good bit of stretch in the dress, and it doesn’t wrinkle at all! The high neck line is also super flattering, and I love the bright white detailing against the navy.
