You know I love a good stripe. I used to only really wear stripes in the warmer months, and put them into hibernation-mode for the rest of the year ha! But I feel like I have really come around on my feelings towards wearing stripes in the winter, and they’ve become a year-round staple in my closet. I love how chic a striped sweater looks with jeans, and I automatically feel more put together when I pop on a striped button up. Sharing two outfits I love and some styling ideas for how to wear stripes this winter.
Striped Sweater // Navy Coat // Skinny Jeans // Canvas Tote // Ballet Flats
I’ve pretty much lived in this navy and white striped sweater this winter. It has been one of my go-to things to wear because it’s cozy and looks great dressed up or down. I love styling it with skinny jeans and flats for a cute simple outfit, but it’s the perfect length to wear with leggings, and you can dress it down with a pair of sneakers for a walk or on a busy day running errands. I love how versatile it is, plus it happens to be on sale for under $130.
Striped Shirt // Demi-Boot Jeans // Woven Bag // Sneakers // Hoop Earrings
Striped shirts are one of the easiest things for me to style and I always feel like myself when I’m wearing one. A button up with skinny jeans and flats is a classic combination, but recently I’ve been a big fan of the casual button up look. I love styling them with demi boot jeans and sneakers for an easy, effortless outfit that’s also the perfect work to weekend transition look. I have my eye on this neutral striped button up – it’s such a cute basic and would look great with white jeans this spring.
I love the oversized button down! So cute!

Navy wool coat is a great find! And on sale!
The cream-colored tote looks a bit summery for the striped sweater and the wool coat. Do you have a suggestion for a handbag or tote that looks a bit more appropriate for the cool and cold weather months?
I carry both totes year round!
