Anyone in need of a new show to binge watch on Netflix? Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is so hilarious. It’s a slapstick kind of comedy written by (!!!) Tina Fey. I kept hearing about the show from friends living in NYC saying how much they loved it… Garrett and I started watching this week after work and we’re hooked. It’s an easy to love and easy to watch show.
The premise: Kimmy is rescued from an underground cult that kidnapped her 15 years before. The show follows her as she navigates her newfound life in NYC.
It’s extra funny if you live in NYC. There’s so many little nuances that are just beyond true to the city. I can’t stop laughing when the show is running. With a lot on my plate, it’s a great way to unwind!
Oh, and the theme song is terribly catchy.

a little bit of life, a little bit of style, and everything in between.
I loved watching this a few days ago. Can not wait for the second season.
I binge watched Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt this week and it is hilarious! I love all the 90s references!

I've been looking for something new to add to my list…something a little less dramatic than House of Cards! So this could be the answer to my prayers 🙂

Me too! My husband and I have been binging House of Cards, but we needed something a little lighter to throw into the mix. This is perfect!

I watched the entire series last week. It's beyond hysterical! I had that theme song stuck in my head for three days.
I cannot wait to watch this!!!

This show popped up on my Netflix recommendations and after reading the description I knew I had to add it to my queue! I haven't started watching it yet but from the sounds of it, I think I'm going to love it!

I LOVED the first few episodes (I was thisss close to saying it was my absolute favorite show of all time, like ever) but I feel like it really dropped off towards the end. Did you and Garrett feel the same way?

I think the last few episodes with Jon Hamm as the Reverend were the best episodes!
I've been looking for a new show to watch that's a little more upbeat than the drama shows like How to get away with Murder. Will definitely add this to the list!

I "fudging" LOVE this show!!!
I thought that I would absolutely dislike this show, just because it seemed a little too slapstick for my usual tastes, but I love it. I originally just watched because I wanted to support Tina Fey, but between the random feminist interjections (Females are strong!) and the quirky 90's references, I'm hooked! Can't wait for a second season.
