I’ve started receiving more requests for wedding guest dresses to wear this summer. With so many couples having to postpone their weddings last year, I have a feeling wedding season is just starting to ramp up again. I tried to find a mix of dresses that fit almost every dress code.
WEDDING GUEST DRESSES
Midi dresses are one of my favorite styles to wear to weddings. They can go both ways for a casual or semi-formal dress code, and most importantly, they’re easy to move around in and dance!! For an under $100 option, I’d choose either this lace A-line dress that comes in multiple colors or this black one-shoulder pleated cocktail dress.
For a formal dress that you can still dance in, I’d recommend opting for a high-low dress like this light blue one. I love the simple halter neckline and elegant ruffled hem. It’s still a gown, but the relaxed skirt and asymmetrical length mean you’ll be less likely to step on the hem of your dress.
Oftentimes, a casual wedding can be more difficult to dress for than a formal wedding, in my opinion. A rule of thumb is to look for dresses with ruffled details, tiered skirts, or puff sleeves that elevate the dress. Then style with a pair of heels, a clutch, and even a shawl.
For casual weddings, a simple mini dress is perfectly acceptable! I know all of you appreciate a smocked dress just as much as I do, so I wanted to share this under $100 smocked dress that looks just as dressy as it does comfortable. The tiered ruffle skirt and sleeves elevate the dress and make it slightly more formal, while the mock neckline helps balance out the shorter length.
Navy Lace Midi (under $90) // Light Blue High-Low Gown // Red Halter Neck Dress // One Shoulder Black Pleated Dress ($100) // Puff Sleeve Midi Dress // Black Bow Cocktail Dress // Blue Floral Maxi Dress // Navy Lace Midi Dress // Pink Satin Midi // Smocked Mini Dress (under $90)
I love all the different styles and cuts! Thanks for sharing!

Perfect timing on this post. We have a wedding to attend this month.
Would love to see some true plus sizes included in roundups, even if only an option or two!
