Another round of my favorite post of the week… a look at my daily outfits! Another wintery week of cozy outfits that very few people saw in person. Since I imagine that most of my weeks for a while are going to look similar, I wanted to add a fun layer into these weekly posts by sharing a win from the previous week and a goal I have for the week to come.
WEEK OF OUTFITS 1.19.21
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Mike had a birthday last week and we had a low key at-home celebration together and then got together with a few of his siblings who are all locked down still. We each brought one of Mike’s favorite things (I picked French bread and fancy butter, ha!). It was a really nice way to celebrate him.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: I want to get the dogs out for a LONG walk every day. I try to take them out during the warmest part of the day, but it’s not always feasible with work calls. It’s so good for all of us to get some fresh air for an extended period of time. Sometimes I feel guilty that it happens during the work day, but I think the benefit is better than skipping.
TUESDAY
Spent most of the day working from home and getting content finalized for an upcoming campaign. I was a little rusty after taking time off for the holidays. I also met up with Elsa for a socially distanced, masked outdoor quick photo shoot. It’s so nice to have a friend nearby to snap each other’s blog photos. Kind of feels like the old school blogging days in NYC before I hired professional photographers!
WEDNESDAY
My volunteer day! Other than that, I spent most of the day just working from home like usual. I had a lot of paperwork to get through to finalize some 2020 stuff and it always feels good to clean the desk off so to speak.

THURSDAY
I spent almost all day Thursday working from the couch. Sometimes it’s necessary! Definitely a perk about working from home. Maybe not the *most* productive position, but it certainly feels luxurious.
FRIDAY
Super casual day, again, (surprise!) working from home. This is the night we celebrated Mike’s birthday and it ended up POURING rain. It left us feeling super cozy!
SATURDAY
Barely did anything exciting on Saturday. Our brother in law came over to watch football and he and Mike had made multiple courses for a meal. It was amazing. I didn’t lift a finger and ate like a queen. (While they watched football, I sat at the kitchen island finishing my taxes. Thrilling Saturday night activity, but man did it feel good!!)
SUNDAY
Another lazy, lazy day. I watched TV, did a tiny bit of needlepointing, a little bit of organizing, and read a ton.
MONDAY
I did a hybrid working day. Mike had the day off so we hung out together a bit. I had some work to do, but it wasn’t terrible. We did take the dogs out for a super long walk. We went a totally different way than we normally did just to do some house peeping… always fun exploring new neighborhoods by foot.
I love these posts and love how you are incorporating goals in them too!

I truly love these weekly outfit posts. You’ve inspired me to scrap the leggings and sweatshirts (most days) and put on some jeans and real shoes. It has really helped me focus more while working from home, and also makes me feel like my whole closet isn’t being wasted!
Love the goals idea!!
These outfits all look so cute and comfortable! I love that you incorporated your goals, too.

I’ve really curated my blog reading list the last few months, culling out quite a bit. Iy’s your consistently thoughtful and realistic content that keeps you at the top of my list. And I really love the new “goals + wins” you’ve added to the weekly outfit posts!

Did you size up in the gray/black sweatshirt? Is it a bit oversized?
I sized up one size! It is slouchy for sure, but I wanted a comfy sweatshirt!
