Some exciting updates! In addition to the new domain and branding upgrade that happened last week, I added a new category so you can go back and look through my weekly outfit posts. Should make it easier to navigate if these are the posts you most look forward to– or just need some inspiration on “I have nothing to wear” days.
WEEK OF OUTFITS 12.1.20
TUESDAY
Just my normal work from home day. I *really* am into this outfit. I’ll probably wear a variation of it at least once a week. I actually found a J. Crew gift card at the bottom of a bag when I was doing some organizing. I had this cashmere cardigan in my shopping cart for a while but finally went for it, taking the gift card as a sign 😉 It’s actually slightly marked down right now, too! It’s thin (still very much opaque though) and lightweight. Thought it would be perfect to layer over shirts and throw over dresses. It fits true to size– usually I size up in cardigans because of my larger chest + gaping between the buttons but my regular size fit perfectly with no gaping.

WEDNESDAY
I actually have no idea what I did Wednesday besides getting everything queued up so I could take a day off for Thanksgiving. I do know I feeling a bit overwhelmed with my to-do list and I took the dogs for a long walk while I cleared my head.

THURSDAY
I didn’t take a mirror selfie, but this is what I wore to Thanksgiving. Because of COVID precautions we only could get together with a couple of Mike’s siblings and his parents. Kind of funny that this was the first year we celebrated Thanksgiving together! Even though it was a different year– it still felt special.

FRIDAY
Nothing super exciting Friday– more work catch up (I finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel!) and gearing up for December.
SATURDAY
We got our Christmas tree. I really have not felt in the Christmas spirit so I’ve been calling it “Operation Jingle” to try to get in the mood 🙃 I threw on a festive outfit and we went to a local nursery that I think has the best trees (The Farm at Green Village). The tree we picked out is pretty perfect and I’m obsessed with it– she’s a tall beauty.
Jacket (my red is from 2015 but this is this year’s version)
SUNDAY
It was kind of a lazy day of getting the house in order and doing some decorating! I pulled out my favorite Christmas candle and between that and the tree it started to feel real. The funniest part of the day is that Mike and I had a late lunch, but it was so big we kind of counted it as dinner. Sunday evening, I was feeling quite anxious and thought I was going to have a panic attack (which I haven’t had in a while). I hopped in the shower to try to unwind. I get out, put on pajamas, and get into bed thinking it’s… night. It was only 6:05 😆 Forced myself to get back out of bed!!!
Nap Dress (specific tartan is sold out)
MONDAY
We had the RAINIEST day. It was so dark. I planned on doing a full “computer only” day anyway so it ended up being perfect. I got super cozy and worked under a heavy blanket next to the tree. Not my usual Monday, but it was actually kind of perfect and just what I needed to regroup and get set up for a full week ahead.
PS Bows and Blue sent me this new iPhone case and I love it!
So casual but put together. ha makes me want to get rid of my college logo sweats and upgrade

I’m sorry, but “because of COVID restrictions…”
Restrictions clearly outlined that you should not spend the holidays with members outside of your immediate household. Sound like you had at a minimum three households, although I’m guessing more unless Mike’s siblings live together. Please, please do your part to keep the numbers down and also encourage your many followers to do the same. This surge is terrifying.
We had all agreed to lock down for two weeks leading up– not everyone was able to which is why it wasn’t his whole family. I know this isn’t something everyone was in a position to do, but we had planned all of November specifically for this.
Thank you for clarifying. I think those details are really helpful to share as a public figure.
One of the best parts of these posts is spotting the dogs in the background of each picture! Oh and I love the outfits, as always!
I adore your first and fourth outfits. All of your clothing pieces look so comfortable & stylish, too!

Love how you styled the nap dress! I’ve wanted to get one for a long time now and wondered if I could style one of the patterns in the cooler months!! This turtle neck look has given me some inspiration!
Los outfits Tuesday y Monday me encantaron, saludos:D
Wait, so we’re supposed to get dressed to work from home?! Lol kidding. You look amazing! I get more done when I DO get dressed.
The J Crew Vintage Straight Jean – do you wear in Classic or Petite? How tall are you? Just need a reference because I am about to order based on these pics!
Regular BUT I hemmed these!
