This may be the last week of outfits for a while because I’ve truly run out of things that fit (and the number is decreasing by the day)! We will see….
LAST WEEK’S WIN: We saw Santa twice this weekend! I am kind of hanging on by a thread physically at the moment, but let me tell you that I am running on Christmas magic! Watching Jack enjoy all things Christmas is maybe one of the best things I’ve ever experienced. It is so, so pure.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: I feel like I’ve done everything I possibly could ahead of Christmas and I’ve been doing a lot for everyone else (which sounds like a complaint, but I genuinely enjoy it! It’s my love language!), but I think I need to spend a little bit of time doing a few Christmas-y things for myself. I would love to do a craft or two, bake something, and I was even thinking of buying a single ticket to see the Nutcracker?! I’ll see how I’m feeling 😉

I have a September baby, so similar to your first, I was most heavily pregnant in the summer months. It was HOT but I was so glad I could bop around in flip flops and dresses. This is pure curiosity, but I always wondered if it would be preferable to be pregnant in the colder months. Cooler temps (hallelujah!) but putting on pants – nope! Since you’re experiencing both, I’m curious what your thoughts are.
Okay I’ve been thinking a lot about this and I think both have pros and cons… Personally, I think it was easier to dress in the summer during my third trimester (especially with the glorious rise of smocked dresses) with dresses and sandals BUT it’s more comfortable in winter (cold air mostly haha!).
I love the bright red sweater for Christmas! So festive!

I took myself to the Nutcracker here in Chicago, and it was such a sweet experience! No babysitting cost, got as dressed up as I wanted, lingered downtown to enjoy the lights. Definitely recommend!
I’m currently five months pregnant and your Week of Outfits post have been sooo nice to see. I hope you don’t stop them completely, because I always get excited when it’s the day you post Week of Outfits! (I religiously come read your blog every morning:))
