Apologies for the unplanned and unannounced radio silence! I got knocked down hard by the flu last week. It was truly the sickest I’ve ever been in my adult life and I spent days (!!!) in bed. Happy to report that thankfully I made it out on the other side though. Hoping everyone stays healthy out there– this flu season has been particularly brutal!
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Honestly, the fact that I am okay… 100% worth celebrating. I saw a TikTok about a woman saying that when she was healthy again after having the flu she was going to live life differently. I related so hard to that…. I was like, “I’m going to do longer workouts. I’m going to try to run just because I can. I am going to keep my house spotless and never get behind on laundry and maybe I’ll buy a bicycle.”
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Unfortunately I’m now quite behind on work. Not ideal, but I need to reprioritize some things and move some to-dos to the back burner for now. It’s really fine though. As I’m writing this though, I’m actually thinking I just need to keep prioritizing my health and resting. The work can wait (or not– it’ll be fine) and I need to get my health back in order!!
