WEEK OF OUTFITS 3.5.24

Back with another week of outfits, postpartum edition. I will say, I’m feeling a bit more normal. Still can’t fit into most of my clothing (and I doubt I’ll fit into most of my shoes ever again 💔) so I’m working with a limited selection of clothing for the time being. And, I really having a battle of wanting to be comfortable and wanting to feel put together… I feel better when I don’t feel slouchy, but I also feel better when I am super comfy.

LAST WEEK’S WIN: Biggest win right now has just been settling into a nice routine as a family of four! I feel like the immediate time after giving birth is always a little hectic. Family coming to visit, people popping by, recovering physically and emotionally, just overall adjusting. We’re in a routine now though and life just feels a little more settled, which is a relief. I’m grateful. So far, so good! I know things will definitely get crazier as Rory gets older and becomes a bit more active, so right now I’m taking things one day at a time and everything is going great.

THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Rory and I are actually heading into the city for a postnatal retreat with Boram. I have been so curious. about this retreat center and I’m excited that we get to try it out. Looking forward to one on one bonding time with him (and I know Jack and Mike will have a fun few days together, too).

The Boram retreat center is such a wonderful idea. I would have so loved a resourceful place to ease in to motherhood! Blessings to you and your sweet little family.

Ugh the shoe situation is the worst. My feet are a half size bigger after having my son almost 10 years ago and no matter what I did, they didn’t go back 🙁

I will say that right after my son was born, most of my shoes didn’t fit (like for a few months)…but eventually I was able to wear most of them again. It may be good to just set them aside for at least a few months or more just in case!

Carly- boram looks amazing and I would love to try it. Curious if this is a sponsored trip or will you be giving us honest feedback of your time there? I’m seriously considering it with baby 3 arrival,
