WEEK OF OUTFITS 7.4.23

We’re settling into our vacation here on Nantucket and it’s been great! I am exhausted (anyone who has traveled with a toddler can probably relate), but it’s also been so amazing? It’s a crash into bed at 9pm kind of vacation!

LAST WEEK’S WIN: Besides just having an overall great vacation so far, the best win last week was that I got to see my friend Colie! We had the best time. I was here on Nantucket alone for the night, so she came over from the Cape for dinner and a sleepover. It literally never matters how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other IRL. It’s like no time has passed at all. A special kind of friendship– I don’t take it for granted!

THIS WEEK’S GOAL: This is a personal one for me…. I really need to let go of my work expectations. We don’t have childcare here and I really want to embrace my inner Chill (Vacation) Mom. Unfortunately, I’ve had next to no time to get any work done and I feel guilty. It’s been bothering me and then I’m bothered that I’m bothered. I need to just live and let go. Priority #1 right now is having a great time with Jack and that’s what matters most.

In reference to your goal for the week, you really should check out my favorite podcaster The Lazy Genius! She has a lot of really good things to say about releasing mom guilt and being kind to yourself about managing it all that I think would really resonate with you in this season of life.
