WEEK OF OUTFITS 8.16.22

A full seven days worth of outfits! I feel like recent weeks I haven’t been as diligent as getting dressed let alone documenting what I’m wearing.

LAST WEEK’S WIN: Celebrating Jack’s first birthday was obviously the biggest win! Surrounded by our family with three birthday cakes?! What could be better. Loved having my parents in town for it.

THIS WEEK’S GOAL: I’m, shockingly, behind in everything. Emails. Work. Laundry. I just need to play a bit of catch up…. why does it feel like that’s what I’m perpetually doing? Playing catch up 🤪

The comment about being perpetually behind hits hard! I thought I’d have this idyllic summer and it’s been *nuts*. I do want to recommend a podcast and book — The Lazy Genius. She has somehow cracked the code of *not* being perpetually underwater and I am so here for it. Glad you, Jack, and the family had such a great time!

I look forward to this post every week. Alice Walk is a new brand I have not heard of and I look forward to giving it a try. Thank you for the information. Missing you on Insta, but totally understand if you need a break.

I feel like this too at work – perpetually behind! I’ve found that when I clear a whole day for JUST catch up – don’t start on anything new, literally just clearing out the queue – I feel so much better!

I have that baby gingham JCrew dress I bought when I saw you wear last summer and I feel like it’s such an easy classic dress. Love!
