I’m sitting down to type this kind of scratching my head about what even happened last week. I think I’m just a little sun-drunk as we soak up as much of summer as possible.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: We ended up not having childcare last week, which was a little stressful work-wise. After a mini-freak out because I had deadlines I couldn’t meet, I decided to just lean into the extra hours with Jack and it was fun! Extra walks, more adventures.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Have fun celebrating! My birthday is Thursday and then we’re going down the shore for Labor Day weekend to toast a great summer and then we’ll come back home in time to celebrate our (!!!) second anniversary!
TUESDAY
A little mix of playtime at home, work, and a family trip to the pond.

Easy going day with no plans!

Just played at home and then met up with some family for a pre-dinner playdate.
FRIDAY
Jack and I had a bonus day together and then Mike and I went out to dinner on a double date.

A long walk with our neighbors and a cozy afternoon at home hiding from the heat.
SUNDAY
A trip to the park with Jack + a lot of work for me.
MONDAY
A playdate with Jack’s little friend and then some campaign work during nap times.
