Another scorcher of a week here! We’re gearing up for Jack’s birthday, prepping for Mike to return to work after the best parental leave, savoring the last bit of summer, and also getting ready for preschool/daycare in September. Whew! A lot going on.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: I took a tennis lesson last week with a friend, got coffee with another friend, recorded a podcast with a new friend, and then got together with girlfriends on Friday to play pickleball. I haven’t been this social in ages. I have been craving it (which should say something coming from an introvert).
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: As if that wasn’t enough socialization, I have even more coming up this week! Who am I?!

He has six months 😭 it’s been incredible!
Omg, that’s such a dream! My spouse had 1 week for our first two babies. He switched employers and had 12 weeks for the third. He ended up staying home for 3 weeks full time, then coming home a few hours early each day (when school let out for the older two) for 4 months. That was such a different and better transition period because we could be “all hands on deck” when everyone was home. It was so much better for my healing! I’m so glad you guys got this time. How wonderful!!!
