While convention says white should be put away after Labor Day, I’m here to break all the rules. I do generally try to avoid the “summer white” look, but I will totally wear white and, you know, make it fall.
A fun fact about these ballet flats is that I had them for over a year before I wore them even once. I bought them and then wasn’t sure if I liked them. I even almost sold them when we moved because I just hadn’t worn them at all!
Well, now they’re one of my most worn shoes! I am so glad I kept them because I’m finding the brown oh-so-versatile. I think having this brown belt in heavy rotation has really helped too.
I actually love them so much that I’m considering buying the city sandal in the same color. I think we have a little bit more time where open toes can work, right?!?
And this is the Celeste dress in cream! I tracked it down on Poshmark earlier this year because I missed out on the color the first time around. Well, I guess it was so popular that they brought it back in every color. It’s such a gorgeous silhouette and toes the line of casual and dressy just perfectly. (I do recommend going up one size for this one though!)
I love this dress so much that I didn’t want to put it away for the cooler months. I plan on wearing it with brown (like shown), navy, and black to make it work for fall and winter.

This post is so timely because just this morning I was pondering if I could still wear one of my white Gal Meets Glam dresses. I usually do the same thing and make the ensemble feel like fall with my accessories. Thanks for the reassurance; the entire outfit looks great! (P.S. Get the sandals!)
