Normally I’m really burnt out by the time November is coming to an end. This year, I’m not exactly burnt out (shockingly) work wise, but I do feel like I’m craving the space to be a little more creative. We’ll see what that means for me in the new year– I’ve already started brainstorming– but in the meantime, I wanted to share some content creators I’m really loving right now. I find that when I’m following and consuming content by people I admire, I’m much more inclined to be motivated to tap into my own creative depths. This is a bit of a mixed media post with some big and small creators, but everyone on this list is putting out content that I just can’t get enough of!
WISHBONE KITCHEN (Youtube)
I follow Meredith everywhere on social media. She’s probably best known on TikTok, where she went viral for showing her journey as a private chef in the Hamptons for a few summers. Now she’s huge on Instagram, has a massive Substack, has a cookbook coming out next year (preordered obviously), but her Youtube channel has been soooooo good lately. Love to see the investment in high quality content. Her Dinner with Friends series is like a new comfort show– better than tv!
SARAH CRAWFORD (TikTok)
TikTok is probably the social media that I spend the most time on, for better or for worse. I found one of Sarah’s videos this summer when she shared a packing list. She works at J. Crew and just moved to a new apartment with her boyfriend. Love her outfits and when she shares her recent saved images– both series are super inspiring!
OLIVIA MEUNTER(Substack)
Olivia is another creator I follow everywhere– her podcast, her bookstagram, and now her Substack. I absolutely LOVED Olivia’s book Such a Bad Influence and have really enjoyed getting to read more of her writing through her Substack. Truly can’t wait to see what book she writes next, so for now… her Substack! Highly recommend.
GABBY WHITEN (Substack)
I’ve mentioned how much I love Gabby’s Substack already, but need to shout it from the rooftops again because it’s SO GOOD. Seriously if you grew up poring over the latest issue of Teen Vogue and Seventeen Magazine and wish you could relive that serotonin burst, this is the Substack for you.
NINE AND SIXTEEN (Instagram)
Tessa has been a favorite follow of mine for years and I think she just has the best eye for interiors. Cozy and comfortable and elevated! Well she recently embarked on a year of making Ina Garten recipes and I have been loving to see what she’s cooking. Her journey has inspired me to add some of Ina’s recipes to my list of ones I want to try too.
AUDREY CARSTARPHEN (Instagram)
Tempted to gatekeep Audrey’s Instagram, but I love her account too much not to share with you. I think I started following her when we were pregnant at the same time because our babies are close in age. (I always love following accounts with kids the same age just to see what everyone is up to hah.) I loooove her style content and just watching someone with a baby in NYC. Good vibes!
ANNIE CULBERTSON (TikTok)
Cannot get enough of Annie’s fashion content! She is a great stylist and I always love her Georgetown/DC content. She makes me wish I had stayed in Georgetown instead of moving to NYC after graduation! Annie works at Tuckernuck, so she shares some fun behind the scenes as well as what her life in DC looks like plus her super cute outfits. (And she visits her family in NJ a lot, which I obviously love!)
DIANA-MAY (TikTok & Instagram)
Diana popped up on my FYP on TikTok and I immediately followed. Her style is a way cooler than what I could pull off, but I’m still inspired by it and just wish I could dress half as chic as she does. I started following her on Instagram too and love how she splits the content up so you feel like you’re getting different perspectives and not just the same stuff on both platforms. (Something I struggle with.)
WHAT WE SAID (Podcast)
Another piece of content I’ve shared before, but as much as I loved the What We Said podcast before, I’m loving it even more now. It’s just so good. I love listening to Jaci and Chelsey chat. I would listen to them talk about anything. I get so excited every time there’s a new episode to dive into. My only complaint is that sometimes I want to actually talk with them because the conversation is just so good, haha. They also just upgraded their set for the podcast as they start to get more into video and, wow, it’s adorable!
TOCARRA’S LIBRARY (TikTok)
Ending with a GEM!!! If you love children’s books (whether you just love revisiting classics you grew up with or are curating books for your own children), you have to follow this account. It’s honestly like a modern day reading rainbow for adults? I just love it so much. Ultimate comfort creator at the moment as Tocarra deep dives on great children’s books!
