Thank you Sole Society for sponsoring this post!
As a continuation of my partnership with Sole Society‘s “What is chic?” campaign, I’m sharing one of my favorite chic looks. Chic to me (as I mentioned before) is really just feeling comfortable in what you’re wearing and being able to rock it like nobody else. To have confidence that radiates from you because you feel great in what you’re wearing. You stand a bit taller. You feel a little bolder. That is chic.
I love wearing jeans (seriously almost every day) with a comfortable sweater and a basic pair of flats… but when the occasion calls for a dressier look, I really don’t think you can go wrong with a simple and classic black and white ensemble.
Typically, I’d reach for a plain pair of black pumps, but oh my word how perfect are these bow slingback flats? The heel is also an inch and a half, so even though they’re flats, they give you a tiny bit of height to get you off the ground. (Oh, and they come in five colors!)

I love the idea of a low flat/pump. I have a pair of vara heels and they are perfect for being comfortable all day, but dressing things up just enough too. They also have some sort of classical old school charm about them. Love the bow on this pair too!
Those shoes are adorable! I love the little bow on the back.
