3 VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFITS

Valentine’s Day hasn’t ever really been a holiday I’ve felt compelled to celebrate, but in recent years I’ve felt a slight shift in my perspective. If the last few years have taught me anything, it’s being more intentional in celebrating the little things. Mike and I usually don’t do anything special for Valentine’s, but last year we thought it would be fun to order a take-home Valentine’s Day dinner for two from a local restaurant. We picked up a big meal with lobster and pasta and had a nice evening at home. It was a little over the top in the best way and a fun treat for a special occasion!

I’m thinking of doing something similar again this year, but in the meantime, Valentine’s Day planning got me in the mood for all things pink and red, so I thought I’d share three Valentine’s Day outfits with one for every occasion.

Robe // PJs // Slippers // Eye Mask

This is my ideal Valentine’s Day outfit. Is there anything better than a night in wearing PJs, a cozy robe, and slippers? I’m a pajama fiend, and I love a matching set. The tiny rosettes on this pair are a subtle touch for V-Day that you can still wear year-round.

Turtleneck Sweater // Jeans // Boots // Bag // Earrings

If your Valentine’s Day plans are on the casual side, you can’t go wrong with a simple sweater, skinny jeans, and black boots. Although you could wear any color, I particularly like a red turtleneck paired with pearl statement earrings to make this casual outfit feel a little more special.

Dress // Earrings // Bag // Heels

For a fancy dinner or special occasion, I love keeping things simple with a black dress and accessorizing with a pop of red like this cute bag under $100. Style with your favorite heels and pick a fun earring like these gorgeous gold bow studs.
