One of my most favorite things to do on the weekend is to walk around and run errands. During the week, I’m typically super bogged down with work and random evening events that I don’t have time to do the little things. I save up all my errands for the weekend (bookstore, grocery shopping, returning things, picking up flowers, etc.). During the winter, I would subway as close as I could to the store that I had to be at and run in and then run right back out.
Now that it’s warm out I’ve been logging so many more miles with just walking. It’s seriously the best. Little sneakers like Keds (how cute are these?) are great for walking around and wearing with lightweight summer dresses. But I’ve been absolutely eyeing these Superga sneakers.
Seriously, it seems like every person that I see passing by me in the city has a pair of these on. (Obviously an exaggeration, but they’re everywhere!!) Typically, that would cause me to shy away from buying a pair (who wants to be like everybody else?), but they clearly work for logging Manhattan miles.
I think they’re going to look great with rolled up jeans and even with little chambray dresses. I’m seriously going to be getting a pair (or two)… I just have to choose the color.
I like this light purple pair and, of course, the navy pair. But then again, you can’t go wrong with white.
I also LOVE the Superga campaign videos! They’re so fun.

I think that sneakers (other than for running) are one of those things that I think look good on everyone but me. I scored a really cute pair of red canvas sneakers in Paris that I never wear because I always put them on and take them off before I leave. 🙁
But I like the navy!
These are super cute! White will most likely get super dirty in the city. Just something to consider and now I sound like a mother. Lol
i've been dying for a pair of white converse! i feel like they with absolutely everything and they are totally classic so i don't have to worry about them going out of style!

omg I finally got a pair of black supergas last week after lusting over them for a couple years! I don't regret it at all. They are super comfortable and stylish. I would definitely recommend getting a pair, especially because that lilac color is adorable!!
