BEST FALL SHOES 2024

I’ve mentioned before that my body looks (and, frankly, feels) different than it did prior to pregnancy. Though there was a time when I wondered if my feet would go back to their normal size postpartum, I’m happy to report they have! Part of switching over my wardrobe for fall means switching out my shoes, which has been a) a breeze, and b) a reminder of how much fun I have dressing for the season. I pulled together some of the best fall shoes– most of which I own, and a couple I have my eyes on.

Best Fall Shoes 2024

Loafers // Do penny loafers remind anyone else of Nancy Drew?! These come in a few other colors– black, chocolate croc, and black and ivory– but I think the dark coffee color is just beautiful (and versatile!).
Tretorn Sneakers // Tretorns are sporty but can still be dressed up, and I love how many options there are. Truly a color combination for everyone!!
Ankle Boots // These are pricey… but I promise, they’re SO worth it. There’s no break-in period and you can wear them for hours without a bit of discomfort. The craftsmanship is incredible! I posted some styling inspiration a couple years ago and I still love all the looks. Go up half a size for the best fit.
J.Crew Mary-Janes // I’ve always loved ballet flats, so naturally I can’t get enough of the Mary-Jane trend. Normally I wouldn’t go for a snakeskin nod, but I’m actually obsessed with the texture it brings to an outfit.
Rain Boots // I can’t even remember when I bought my first pair of Hunter boots! I don’t wear them super often, but they’re the best fall shoes for inclement weather– sometimes I even wear them when it snows.
Heeled Boots // If I could only pick one pair of the best fall shoes to recommend, it’d be these. The brown leather and heel height are both *chef’s kiss*.
Superga Sneakers // Oh, how I love Supergas. I wore my last pair into. the. ground. I’m positive I’ll do the same with my current pair, too. (These are the no-show socks I like to wear with them!)
Margaux Mary-Janes // I would own these in every single color if I could. The burgundy is a little outside my usual palette, but it’s perfect for fall and I think it could read as brown depending on what you pair with it.
New Balance Sneakers // I hope New Balances never go out of style again. These are so comfortable and a great alternative to the classic white sneaker if you’re looking for one.
