HOW TO STYLE MARGAUX BOOTS

As you know, Margaux’s boots are my go-to shoe during winter. I’ve been a fan of the brand for years, and their shoes have been love at first step! Typically new shoes require some time to break in, so I was very impressed that there was zero breaking in time. I’ve logged lots of miles in these boots and can confirm they are worth the splurge as I now own them in two colors and wear them all the time.

A note on sizing: I recommend sizing up 1/2 a size for the best fit.

Striped Sweater // Jeans // Bow // Bag // Boots

I love the simplicity of French style. Funny enough, the first time I bought a pair of Margaux boots was right before a big Paris trip a few years ago, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. You can never go wrong with simple classics like a striped sweater and jeans styled with black accessories. I just got this pair of straight leg jeans and have loved having another style to throw into my rotation.

Blazer // Sweater // Jeans // Earrings // Bag // Boots

Black boots are a workwear essential. I find myself wearing quite a few blazers since it’s such an easy way to dress up a sweater and jeans. This outfit would be a great business casual option to wear to work if your office allows jeans, but you could easily swap them for a pair of straight pants to make it work for you.

Cardigan Sweater // Dress // Belt // Boots

Finally, I’d style black boots with a printed midi dress, a thin belt, and a cardigan sweater for a dressier outfit. J.Crew just released this dress as part of a new collection with Liberty, and it has me dreaming of spring. Such a great work to weekend combo and a comfortable outfit you can easily transition from winter to spring.

Have looked at those boots and the only thing holding me back is the suede heels. Have you had any problems with salt stains etc. in the winter?

I haven’t but I don’t usually wear them when it’s wet/snowy/slushy because they are suede!
