BEST PICKLEBALL PADDLES

I’ll admit the first thing that piqued my interest in pickleball was the paddles, haha! Of course you don’t need more than one, but… Who can resist cute pickleball paddles?? They’re total mood lifters. In my dream world, I’d have a coordinating paddle for all of my pickleball outfits! (Kidding… kind of.) As we get closer to summer, I thought it’d be fun to round up some of the best pickleball paddles. There’s so many good ones right now, I don’t know if I could pick a favorite!!

I love how many businesses and collaborations have popped up since Mike’s brother taught us how to play a few summers ago at the height of the pandemic. Recess makes some of the best pickleball paddles and has partnered with amazing brands like Tuckernuck, J.Crew, J.McLaughlin, Anthropologie, and India Hicks. It’s only a coincidence that most of paddles I picked are by them! They REALLY have the market cornered and for good reason– their paddles are such high quality and tons of fun to look at/play with. I do have my eye on some up-and-coming brands like Tangerine and Coastal Sports though. Oh! And there’s my blue and white bows.

If you’ve been thinking about trying pickleball but haven’t yet, my advice is to just START. Especially if you’re feeling understimulated or you haven’t found a workout you love yet! Movement can be a great way to take care of yourself (so can learning something new, getting outside, and spending time with others). And you never know– you might just pick up your new favorite hobby.
