SUMMER CAPSULE WARDROBE

Since summer is almost here, I wanted to share an updated summer capsule wardrobe. I love creating mini capsule wardrobes at the start of a new season since it helps me take inventory of what I already own and fill in any gaps. It’s also such a life saver on days when I can’t decide what to wear – kind of like having a personal uniform that you can dress up or down! Picking a color palette also makes mixing and matching easier. I’m always a fan of navy and blue (of course), but I’ve been particularly vibing with pink and (!!!!) brown, so I’ve included a mix of new pieces I’m loving, like this pink midi dress I’m swooning over, and some of my favorite staple pieces you probably recognize, like my go-to raffia bag and this cute white cotton dress under $50.

White jeans are one of my summer staples since they’re so versatile. Pair them with a simple tank top and sandals for a casual look or dress them up with a blouse and heels for a dinner. These shorts were a recent purchase and are seriously one of the most comfortable and flattering shorts I’ve ever worn. The length is perfect, not too short or too long, and they have just the right amount of stretch.

I also love a good midi dress for summer. They’re easy to throw on and instantly make you look put together. I like to opt for cotton or linen fabrics to stay cool in the summer heat. This pink midi dress is the perfect mix of flirty and sophisticated and can easily transition from day to night. Pair it with a sweater around your shoulder and sandals during the day and dress it up with heels and earrings for a night out.
