I’ve been tapping into all of my favorite holiday wardrobe pieces lately and went super heavy into reds… but you don’t have to be fancy or stick to just reds to feel festive. In this case, I’m really wearing an outfit I would wear (aka do wear) on an everyday basis… and with the black watch scarf, it’s just a little more holiday!
(I also feel like I need to note that it was not that cold when I wore this and took these photos, hence the lack of coat!)
What I love most about this outfit is that it isn’t just for December. I wear these jeans year round. I wear the sweater year round. I wear the shoes year round. The scarf is obviously for winter, but because it’s not super holiday-y, it works past Christmas too.
I bought this bag on Cyber Monday and it’s no longer available online, but here’s a similar option!
Black Watch Cashmere Scarf (c/o) // Cable Knit Sweater // Similar Handbag // Jeans // Similar Shoes // Glasses // Earrings (c/o)
I wear jeans all. the. time. In the summer when it gets too hot for jeans, I wear distressed jeans haha. // I love teal and have recently accumulated more teal pieces in the past years, and teal works pretty well for the holidays too, so that’s my year-round colour! If I want to be extra festive, I’ll add some red 🙂 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
I love the scarf!

There’s nothing quite better than a classic scarf and sweater. Love this look, Carly!
I love how casual yet put together this outfit is! I’m a huge fan of plaid, and especially love those glasses!
Love that scarf! That tartan is perfect to wear with navy or black! I love all plaids but sometimes it’s nice to not have one with red in it!!

I really rarely comment but you look amazing!!!! I love this look so much!
You look so chic and professional in these shots! I’m getting sick of red at this point in the month, so definitely will be using these tips and trying out more blue/greens.
I was thinking the same thing, I think Black Watch plaid is my favourite. It’s classic but not too holiday looking so you can wear it during the winter months. Love your outfit.
