breakfast at tiffany’s

Want to know a secret?  Up until recently, I had never watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s!
I saw that it was on Netflix Instant and thought I’d give it a try.  I was actually thoroughly convinced that I would hate it.
But, I loved it.

And the outfits… just as classic as I thought they would be.  I also think they’re quite perfect for holiday parties and dinners, especially with a few modern updates.

A shorter dress, with longer sleeves, is cute and also appropriate for all sorts of family gatherings.  Definitely go for bows on the toes.  And just a hint of sparkle around the neckline.

If you’re hosting a party, I’m sure you’re like my family and end up having to make ten trips to the grocery store because you realize you’re out of x, y, and z.  A classic trench with comfortable flats (and don’t forget the pearls) looks put together with minimal effort.  Save your energy for the baking!

The picture of your cat is so cute! This is one of my favorite movies, and after seeing it for the first time I was inspired to have a more chic sense of style! Glad you enjoyed it!

I still can't figure out why Breakfast at Tiffany's is so loved xD I've found it pretty nice,but not that piece of an artwork everyone think it is..
