CHILDREN’S HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

Costumes have always been my favorite part of Halloween. Growing up, my mom would sew my sister and me the best costumes, which would make their way to our costume box that we’d pull out for various shows we put on for our parents. I will forever appreciate the time and detail poured into a homemade costume, and I think it would be a lot of fun to sew one for Jack sometime, but it’s a big undertaking to commit to, ha! That said, there are a few brands that have a great selection of elevated children’s Halloween costumes that I had to share. For example, Meri Meri has an adorable wise owl costume this year that could work for boys and girls. I think they have some of the best unique costume options available, and it’s certainly worth browsing!

Jack’s first Halloween last year was the perfect fall day and felt like something out of a movie with kids everywhere in costume and houses decked out with decorations. I thought he needed to be a classic “Jack”-o’-lantern for his first Halloween, which was too cute. We went trick or treating with his cousins, and although Jack was too young to join in on the fun, it was a little taste of all the Halloweens to come. It got me excited to think about him properly trick or treating with his cousins throughout the years! I haven’t decided what Jack will be this year, but I have a few ideas I’m trying to narrow down. It’s safe to say there is no shortage of cute children’s Halloween costumes!
