How many times have you been in your school bookstore buying textbooks and you’ve been underwhelmed by the clothing options? I used to wander into the bookstore a couple times a week for index cards, calculator batteries, or headphones (because I was always forgetting to bring headphones to study). Every time I’d want to see if there were any cute Georgetown clothing, but everything was for the most part kind of…. cheesy.
School House was started by Rachel Weeks, a graduate of Duke University, while she was researching socially responsible apparel manufacturing initiatives in Sri Lanka as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar from
2007 to 2008.School House currently works with 12 different U.S.-based vendors, primarily located in North Carolina, to produce its merchandise. From the yarn used to knit sweaters to the ink printed on its tees, the company is constantly striving to build a 100% Made in America supply chain that never
compromises design or quality.
I think that the clothes are just too cute. School House now has 32 schools!
Totally just had Caroline buy the Stanford sweater!
It’s nice to see cute clothes that are responsibly manufactured for college. I like the retro style and the conservative fit. The clothes are perfectly feminine!
Moms (and Dads)– I think these would be fun Christmas presents… or gifts for newly accepted students!
Students– Get geared up for game days, long nights in the library, and general school spirit.
Alums– Rep your school!

Love the sweaters! If you're a senior, it's a great present to get all of your friends as they choose where they are going to college… I have been working on my Christmas shopping myself, trying to get everything bought before things sell out!

So cute!
LOVE this stuff and that they have Georgia Tech items! <3
Thanks so much for sharing all the schools you ladies are looking for!! We're listening! xoxo Rachel
LOVE the Wisconsin stuff! Great post.
This is SO great. I live in NC and have made an effort to buy clothing made in America and especially NC for Christmas presents this year (i.e. High Cotton Ties). I had heard of the School House brand a while ago but had forgotten about it. Thanks so much for doing this post! I really hope NC can get back our textile business even stronger than before.
It's really nice to see products made in America — especially considering the recent stories on the news about overseas clothing production conditions. I'm trying to be more responsible about where I buy stuff and would love to see more posts like this.
I love the stanford sweater. They ought to make that for Ga Tech!
I love the infinity scarves!!! Too bad they don't have William and Mary 🙁
On Wisconsin! 🙂
I actually live in NC and in one of the counties where they get their cotton! This is pretty awesome! These are cute!!!!!
Awesome company! I am trying to buy American and it's so hard to find cute clothes. Now they just need to add the University of Michigan!
