DIARY No. 102

Here’s what we’ve been up to the past two weeks according to my camera roll…

When we came back from Nantucket, our hydrangeas had popped! I was nervous because we were gone for two weeks and we didn’t have anyone watering them besides Mother Nature. We left with just a few little blooms starting to blossom and coming home to big hydrangeas was the best. Can you believe this is their first year? I only planted them this spring! I’m excited to see them grow over the years. This is the variety we planted.

Waiting on Martha sent me the sweetest summer gift basket, including this olive oil! Is it not the chicest olive oil you’ve ever seen? This would make a fantastic house warming or hostess gift. I can’t wait to use the vessel as a little vase when we finish off the oil, too.

These cosmetic pouches are fantastic. I love the terry clothe exterior and they have a wipeable inside with a FUN print. The big size is particularly a winner to me. I’ve been using it to bring everything I need for the gym, including my Dyson Airwrap! It’s the perfect size for ALL the necessities.

I’ve been trying to pick a recipe every week to make and last week I made this salmon bowl and it was so simple to make and tasted delicious. Overall a big hit and will make its way into my rotation for sure.

Our pond club just finished their new pickleball courts! It’s made playing extra fun to have fresh courts. I did a campaign for the new Stanley tumbler colors and they feel so pickleball-y that I had to shoot the stories on the courts!

And some major progress on my office space!!!! Can’t wait to share more as it’s finalized in the coming months It’s been so nice to have a beautiful space to go to work. I’ve been going almost every day while Jack is in daycare and I haven’t felt this inspired in a while. After ten years of working from home, it was time.

Also Rifle Paper Co totally hooked me up with the most beautiful stationery and desk accessories. Such a sweet surprise.

Jack has been having himself the best time this summer. Our friends came up and these two toddlers were having a blast. Highly recommend having babies at the same time as your friends 🤣

Sooooo many hot afternoons spent at the pond. It’s exhausting because Jack just wants to swim the entire time, but it’s so worth it. We all sleep beautifully after time at the pond 🤣 (These are our beach towels, highly recommend– they are BIG and SOFT!)

Is there anything better than a delicious coffee drink and a quiet afternoon to work?! Have I mentioned how happy I am to have a dedicated office space?! It’s been a game changer.

I have a question, are you able to share where your adorable flower girl dresses were from (at your wedding)? They have been in my mind since your wedding .. thank you.
