DIARY No. 119

This is what we’ve been up to the last two weeks according to my camera roll!

I wish we had had more time to explore the grounds of Blue Hill at Stone Barns. A huge storm was rolling in but maybe one day we’ll go back and do the proper tour!

I got a mini Boat and Tote and omg I’m obsessed. She’s so cute and little, but still somehow holds a lot!

Our summer could be measured in scoops of ice cream! Last week we went out for an impromptu sushi dinner with our friends followed by ice cream and then we let the kids dance out their energy at our town’s evening concert series. Feel so lucky to call our town home and to have these special friends!

How sweet are these brothers in their matching “good dog” jammies on their first day up at the lake. (Jack’s two piece set + Rory’s zippered pajamas, c/o.) I love how much they love each other and it’s only the beginning.

This is currently the boys’ favorite thing to do, haha. It cracks me up. Rory LOVES it and Jack does not realize Mike is back there holding Rory 😉

I had more fun than I probably should have making beaded bracelets with my little nieces.

Spent nap times on our trip stitching away. The travel baby monitor I brought only got signal in one spot on the porch so I spent a lot of time in that one spot.

Not a bad place to do a little SOTO Method! I’m still loving the workouts!!!

The kids had just a week of good ole fashioned fun.

I took the boys to the farm one day and it was the highlight of Jack’s trip, honestly. SO much fun. It was hot and steamy and muggy, but the three of us had a great time! Jack loved it last year and I had a feeling he’d be even more into this year and he was. He was brave and fed the goats right out of his hand and loved petting the cats!

Rory’s first trip to the Harbor was a success! He dipped his toes in he water for a few minutes but otherwise was just happy to be passed from family member to family member.

One morning, I took the boys to go blueberry picking! It was my favorite day of the trip. I found a little PYO spot a few minutes away from the house and it was so easy. I feel like most PYO places around home are all big productions and big to-dos. This was right off of a side road and I parked the car and the blueberry bushes were just right there! Easy peasy and a perfect toddler approved activity.

And then once the kids were in bed… card games!

For our high school graduation my friend gave each of us an LL Bean mini boat tote with our initials. It was the best gift and I still have it 20+ years later! Everyone was always shocked at how much it could hold. What a treasure.
