I always had the ugliest ones throughout middle and high school. But Sporty Sister came up with the best idea ever. She took (well, stole) one of my cosmetic cases and used it as a pencil case. Can you say GEN-IUS?
Cosmetic cases are perfect for pencils, pens, highlighters, etc. because they’re LINED. You don’t have to worry about that sneaky highlighter leaking through a cute pattern. (Please tell me I’m not the only one that this has happened to!) They’re also perfect in size since they’re designed to hold makeup brushes. Here are some that would be a perfect addition to a tote (or a backpack).
Lilly Pulitzer. This is what I use.. and it’s perfect! I have it in the Mumsie print.

My mother gave me the Kate Spade pencil case/kit when I was a sophomore in college, and I still keep it in my tote bag filled with the little erasers and pencil sharpener–and post its, of course!

I just got a great kate spade pencil case from their outlet! it is pink leather, and includes 4 pencils, 2 erasers and a sharpener. it's perfect!
I use a monogram Jon Hart pencil bag that I love love love!
