FALL STYLE FOR CHILDREN

What is it about baby clothes that I find to be so fun to shop for? I can’t put my finger on whether it’s because of the size, adorable patterns, or the excitement that comes with being a first-time mom. Regardless of the reason, it brings me joy! Lately, some of the brands I like to browse through are J.Crew Crewcuts, Janie and Jack, Ralph Lauren (usually via Macy’s), Nordstrom, Bella Bliss, Little English, Maisonette, and Beaufort Bonnet. I find certain retailers to have a better variety for specific age groups, so when successfully shopping for children, I think it comes down to browsing around until you find the right brand (which I, for one, don’t mind)!

As we head into fall, I wanted to do a round up of things that caught my eye while shopping for Jack. I tried to include clothing for boys + girls too and various ages.

Boys’ Plaid Overalls // Girls’ Smocked Floral Dress // Boys’ Collared 1-Piece // Girls’ Check Dress

Girls’ Embroidered Sweater Rose Set // Boys’ Pumpkin Romper // Girls’ Ruffle Neck Pullover // Boys’ & Girls’ Chocolate Lab Fair Isle Pocket Cardigan

Girls’ Ruffleneck Bobble Sweater // Boys’ Shawl Cardigan // Girls’ Long Sleeve Pima Scallop Collar TeeGirls’ Marigold Check Dress // Girls’ Blue Ruffled Jumper

Boys’ Button-Collar Sweater // Boys’ Houndstooth Pull-On Pant // Boys’ Sherpa Vest // Girls’ Fair Isle Set

Boys’ Gingham Shirt // Boys’ Half-Zip // Boys’ Twill Pant // Boys’ Elbow Patch Pullover

There are SO MANY cute options for boys this fall, including tiny shawl cardigans, sherpa vests, and even this pair of plaid overalls. This pumpkin embroidered romper is a super adorable pick and probably something they’ll be able to wear more than once throughout the season.

Although I may be a boy mom, that doesn’t mean I don’t love scanning through the girls’ section on occasion too! (Love having three nieces to spoil!) I think a printed shift dress over a white long sleeve scallop collar tee is so classic for fall. It reminds me of some of the outfits Meesh dressed me in growing up. For the little ones, I love these matching baby sets from Janie and Jack. The fair isle print and ruffle on the shoulder are adorable!

Loved this round up! I came to ask if you have plans for a children’s holiday outfit post. Our little guy is due Dec 1 and I want so badly to have cute/comfy outfit choices for him at Christmas. I’ve loved following along and I hope you’re enjoying your time away with family this month!
