First, I have a confession. I broke my spending freeze. For some reason, I’ve been the worst about my calendar recently. I showed up 30 minutes early to a meeting downtown the other day (and I thought I was going to be late… ha) because I misread the calendar entry. And then I showed up to another meeting a WEEK early. I totally forgot that we had rescheduled to the following week, and it was randomly on my calendar three different times. I was dressed, downtown, and ready to go. Frustrated with myself, I found my way to the nearest J. Crew. Absolutely the worst habit of mine… but I’ve also been stressed about finding new outfits in my closet for a few projects– today I have four outfit changes in four hours. Blah! I was just going to look (I swear!!!) but then I found this skirt and (whoops) the matching dress.
Anyway, I’m back on the bandwagon… I hope. Now that I have a few springy things, I think I should be able to hold off. Welp.
Well, the best part about the skirt is that it can be dressed up or down. It’s so comfortable, has pockets (!!!), and is pretty much amazing. Seriously, I can’t get enough of it and intend on wearing it as much as possible this spring and summer. I styled it in a casual, running errands kind of way and then again more dressy. I really think this skirt, as bold and dramatic as it is, is really quite versatile.

Very cute. I have two floral skirts and have been looking for different ways to style them. Plus, I've been obsessed with pattern lately.
I got that skirt too last week! It's going Fasst!! It was a bit too long so I had to hem it! (I'm only 5'2"!! Love it styled with the classic white oxford! I went Casssssh with it and wore a denim jean jacket and sneakers:)
