When Mike and I bought our house, we told each other that we always wanted to have fresh flowers at all times. We don’t do crazy arrangements for everyday flowers, but we typically bring home a bunch or two from the grocery store whenever we’re out shopping. (And we love splurging on bigger, nicer arrangements for special occasions!) It always brings me such joy to have flowers out on the kitchen island and scattered around the house.
I have a small collection of vases and pitchers I rotate through depending on the flowers and my mood. Vases make great gifts and I firmly believe you can never have too many! My sister just moved into a new apartment and I got her a vase as a housewarming gift– huge hit. (I have that vase in various sizes and they are so beautiful!)
I always recommend looking beyond just vases too; so many vessels can be used for flowers. Some of my favorite vases are actually not vases at all but pitchers. Just something to keep in mind when you’re on the hunt.
