The Fourth of July is one of the highlights of my summer and brings back a lot of nostalgia. Growing up, my family took the Fourth very seriously. We’d travel to my grandparents’ house for a week at the beach and go all out. I loved the parades, fireworks, sparklers, and dressing up in red, white, and blue outfits. We’ll be in Nantucket again this Fourth of July, and I’m looking forward to being back on island and celebrating with friends and family. Whether your plans include a trip to the beach or a backyard summer barbecue, there are a few entertaining essentials for everyone in today’s post.
No Fourth of July is complete without s’mores! We love our Solo Stove, and this cute campfire skewer set and gourmet s’mores kit are perfect for a backyard or beach bonfire. My family is definitely on the competitive side and loves to play games together. We grew up playing Jenga, so I had to include this jumbo yard set. It’s a bit nostalgic and a fun way to keep everyone entertained outside. Cornhole is also a classic, and I like that you can get this set personalized.
A beverage tub is essential if you’re hosting a backyard barbecue. This one is only $15 and is perfect to pair with a set of festive monogrammed firework party cups. Picnic food covers come in handy all summer long for outdoor meals – this set is from one of my favorite home brands. Finally, here are a few of my favorite finds for a Fourth of July tablescape: this red tablecloth, monogrammed seersucker dinner napkins, block print placemats, blue wine glasses, and a seagrass pitcher.
RED TABLECLOTH // SEERSUCKER DINNER NAPKINS // SEAGRASS PITCHER // PLACEMATS
BLUE WINE GLASSES // PICNIC FOOD COVER // CORNHOLE // YARD JENGA
SOLO STOVE // CAMPFIRE SKEWER SET // S’MORES KIT // CHAPPY WRAP BLANKET

I love the idea of backyard games! So fun! Have a great time in Nantucket!
