What a week! I have been taking care of myself and carving out a little bit of time every day for myself and feel so much better. It’s so not groundbreaking, but I don’t know why it’s been so hard for me to really just do it. Working out on the Peloton or even just a power walk with Jack in his stroller, needlepointing for a couple of minutes, and then reading before bed. It makes the world of difference. Just needed to share 💆🏻♀️
LAST WEEK’S WIN: I had such good quality time with Jack. It’s my #1 job right now and I feel so grateful I get to spend so much time with him… and he is getting FUN. Every day I get to know him a little bit more as his personality SHINES. He’s been climbing on everything. Giving sloppy kisses galore. Playing with a firetruck toy pushing it back and forth… Ugh, just the best.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Tomorrow my sister and I are doing the drive to Nantucket! It’s a long drive + the slow ferry…. so hoping it goes smoothly! (Mike is meeting us there after work later this week.) Pray for us, haha…

I can’t wait until my next vacation, which will be a 7 hour car drive with a 9 month old! Eek. Today, I wrote about home safety tips for when you leave on vacation. Perfect timing.
