I imagine that you, like the vast majority of the country and me, are finding this to be a more challenging year to “celebrate” the Fourth of July. I have been reflecting daily (really more like hourly) on what I think being an American means and what the United States really stands for. But with Independence Day here, I think more important than ever to take some time to truly do some personal reflection on the matter.
