This was such a fun guide for me to put together. I have always loved shopping for little kids, but wow it’s even more fun as a parent! I tried to really put this together thinking about what has worked for us (i.e. what’s tried and true) and also added a couple of things that are on my own Christmas shopping list. Whether you’re a grandparent looking for a winning toy or trying to win “Cool Aunt” points, here’s the guide:
Hello Lighthouse became an instant favorite in our house– it’s filled with beautiful illustrations and actually enjoyable to read aloud as a parent. Brio tracks, Thomas trains, and Magnatiles have been fan favorites here with both Jack and his friends when they come over to play. (You can also never have too many of these!) A balance bike and a scooter are great big ticket items that will be used for years.
I think Jack will be finding some Duplo legos, a toddler friendly board game, and some extra Tonies for his Toniebox.
