Minnow Swim sent me mom & baby matching pieces from their latest collection. Let me just say, I’ve long been a fan of Minnow Swim and I dreamed of the day when I could get a little suit or two for my own (at the time) future hypothetical child. Jack received his first pair of trunks from one of his aunts at Christmas and it brings me so much joy seeing him in it! (Despite it being winter, we’ve been doing quite a bit of swimming between swim lessons, being in Florida, and then staying in a hotel with a pool.)
I could not be a bigger fan of their spring collection. Especially the gingham. I mean, too cute. And as far as mom and baby boy matching goes, it couldn’t be better. I love the suit they sent me (more on that below), but you could totally coordinate with any navy bathing suit you already own, which I love.
Let me just quickly sing the praises of this women’s suit (c/o). It’s so thoughtfully designed. There’s a shelf bra inside with removable pads. The smocking is tight and has a great fit and is lined so it’s not itchy. The straps are adjustable and have a little stretch for added comfort. And there’s plenty of length and plenty of booty coverage. I got the size medium and it feels perfect on, especially for my chest and long torso!
There is a long-sleeve version for women, too… But it has a cut out in the back! I so wish it was full coverage because (at least for me), it’s a sunburn waiting to happen 🤣
Jack’s little board shorts (c/o) are so cute. I love the fit and the navy trim.
I went a little crazy ordering a few more things for Jack. We plan to spend a lot of time by the water this summer. Between time down the shore with Mike’s parents, visiting my parents down in Florida, a few beach and lake vacations, and our pond club officially reopening…. I can’t wait! I also got his cousins suits to match because I simply couldn’t resist. I was most excited to see simple rash guards with no logos for babies. (Way harder to find than you’d realize….)
