Gingham Style

One morning last week I stood in front of my closet for a few minutes trying to figure out what to wear for a day of working, an afternoon meeting, and a dinner date with Garrett. I was relieved I didn’t have to get too dressed up (I prefer casual over anything else!) and gravitated towards my usual look.
When all else fails, a navy sweater will do. Seems to be a weekly motto for me.
Oh, and a touch of gingham. I had my eyes set on this trench and just couldn’t wait a minute longer, even if we’re still in the throes of winter. 
If you’re in between sizes I’d go up– the coat is a little slimmer in the shoulders.
(Also, it has a hood… I think the gingham is what drew me in and the hood sealed the deal!)
