Honeycomb Dress

This is the dress I met while meeting Reese Witherspoon… so obviously, it’s going to be  one that I treasure forever.

I don’t think these are the best photos ever taken for the blog and I was tempted to trash them haha, but the dress itself is too good to not share. You know when you see something online and it looks good… but it’s even better in person? That’s this dress. It’s unbelievably comfortable and the fit is so, so good.

It is also such a great dress to have on hand because it really can be dressed up or down in many different ways. For meeting Reese, I wore it with little heels and a basket bag. For the photos, I wanted to share how it could be styled for a casual workday. And it’d look just as cute with white sneaks and maybe a denim jacket.

Draper James Honeycomb Dress

When I posted it on Instagram, I had a few DMs from people asking about the material. It’s like a thinner, more flexible ponte. It moves very easily and doesn’t feel stiff in the slightest. It has the perfect amount of stretch too, a) for the perfect fit but b) still being comfortable enough to move in.

If you think the photos aren’t the best – then why not reshoot? I understand wanting to share but wouldn’t you want to put out your best work?

i don’t understand why you said these weren’t the best photos. i don’t notice anything different than usual AT ALL. i’m not sure if you were referring to the quality of the pictures or your appearance. either way, don’t be so hard on yourself 🙂
