Preppy Fall

This might just be one of my favorite outfits of the year. This is honestly my favorite season clothing wise. Nothing is better than feeling totally neutral with the weather where you can wear a skirt with bare legs but still want a little sweater.

I bought this skirt last year from J. Crew and I loved it then, and I love it still now. J. Crew Factory released a version this year. I think it’s pretty similar. Slightly different colors and I can’t tell if it has pockets or not, but if you’re going for this tweedy style, I can’t recommend it enough! Such a fun flirty skirt for fall…. and you can wear it with so many different tops

I styled it pretty simply since the skirt truly speaks for itself. I’ve been living in these shoes pretty much and they’re unfortunately sold out in almost every size. But the slingback style is definitely making an entrance this fall so you can find similar options everywhere from Old Navy (under $30!) to Everlane and Brooks Brothers.

Okay, also… J. Crew. Ugh why don’t they have basic white shirts or cable knits this fall!!! I’m hoping they’re going to release a new batch before winter. If they do… STOCK UP. Cable knits are surprisingly hard to find and, while I like the Ralph Lauren ones, I wish they didn’t have logos.
