I thought I had just done this, but it’s been over a month! I’ll try to be better about doing it more frequently because as I’m going through my phone I’m realizing just how much ground I have to cover. Choosing the best of the best for this.
Usually, my dogs are extremely active. But since it’s been super cold, they’ve been extra snuggly. This little guy will find any nook to slink into for an afternoon nap. Lately, he’s been sharing my office chair with me. I’d like to think he’s there for me, haha, but it’s really just because it’s right where the heat blasts making it the warmest spot in the entire apartment.
We’ve been going to Target every other weekend or so. I usually need one or two things, but just go for the ~experience~ you know? I like to pick up snacks at Target and then usually spend the rest of the time just wandering the aisles looking at things that I don’t need but somehow feel like I can’t live without.
One thing that helps is that I’ve been not using plastic bags anymore and so I only bring a small tote– and I know I can’t possibly buy anything more than the tote holds.
I have been obsessed with my iPad. I feel like crossing the one month mark is pretty important for me in terms of habits. The “newness” of it has worn off and I’m still finding SO MUCH utility in it. If you want a quick catch up on what iPad I have and what I’m using it for, I did a post on it a few weeks ago!
I can’t seem to stay away from Bluestone Lane for too long. I would go every day, honestly. But I try to keep it like a little weekend treat. Sometimes I meet up with a friend and sometimes I just go by myself with a book. Either way, I always get the “Brekkie Board.” It’s half a serving of the avocado toast and half a serving of the yogurt and granola parfait. If you ever go to a Bluestone Lane location, you have to try it and then report back to me just how much you love it 😉
I got a sneak peek at the upcoming Draper James collections and collaborations. I have to say, WOW. This is going to be their best year yet for the brand. I was taking mental notes of what I wanted… so. much. gingham. I’m also super into their new branding– seems perfect for the brand.
I’m chugging along with BG 2.0. I actually can’t believe how fast this challenge is going by. I think the first series (BBG 1.0, which for me was four weeks of pretraining and then Weeks 1-12) was just about getting into the habit. It was a lifestyle change, even if I had been working out a lot before.
Now, with this round, it’s just part of my everyday routine to squeeze in and schedule the workouts… and then to actually do them. Don’t get me wrong though, the workouts are insanely hard. Way harder than the first round and I am sore pretty much every single day now. But with that said, IT WORKS. I feel so much stronger and I’m able to do hard moves with a lot more ease than before.
I also have to share this book. If you’re looking for a gift for a little one for Valentine’s Day. We got these books for the babies. My sister and I were both huge Eric Carle fans as kids and my mom would even lead us in making tissue paper collages like his artwork! This book is so, so cute and perfect for Valentine’s Day, but also for any day. It’s so sweet and the illustrations are beautiful.
Okay. If you’ve been following along on Instagram Stories, you might have caught our craft night. It was so much fun. We had like ten different things going on. From the Cricut to my friend Maddie’s embroidery machine, we were just crafting away.
I’m going to do a Youtube video on these sweatshirts! Love the way they turned out.
How gorgeous is that sunset? The sky was changing every second from orange to hot pink to purple. And the city was reflecting the bright pink.
From the Lilly Pulitzer book launch. I rarely find myself on the Upper East Side anymore so it was nice to revisit the neighborhood, and especially see the Madison Ave store. It’s as gorgeous as ever. I loved that since Lilly “started with a juice stand,” they had oranges everywhere. It was a fun touch.
Meghan and I hadn’t seen each other since before the holidays! We text every day so I couldn’t believe how much time we let pass! Both of us are big on scheduling things (and I love her for it), so we put a little date on the calendar a few weeks ago. It was so nice to see her and catch up! Our plans were to go to Ralph’s Coffee, but it was closed for the fashion show. Disappointed, but not deterred, we made our way down the street to Laduree for croissants and macarons. After fueling up on sugar, we went to the Frick. I can’t believe it was my first time!
Ashley is in town this week and invited Mackenzie and me to get manicures with the Essie team. The three of us had such a great time in Charleston last fall, and we were all looking forward to being together again. After the manicures, we got together for dinner with two of our favorite gals from Vineyard Vines. It’s always so nice to do actual face to face time (with friends and people we work with) instead of just communicating through texts and emails. There’s nothing like true time together!
And as if enough fun things didn’t happen this week, we double dated with Ashley and her husband Ryan at Bobo. We were all really looking forward to celebrating the end of Ryan’s treatment. We spent the dinner laughing and making future ski trip and Nantucket vacation plans and discussing everything from decision fatigue to Hamilton (the person and the musical). I’m pretty sure the restaurant was about to kick us out because we were there for so long!
Okay, I think that just about does it for updates 🤗
You just reminded me that I haven’t been to Bluestone Lane in ages! I have plans to catch up with some friends this weekend over brunch; I wonder if I can convince everyone to make a last minute switch to Bluestone Lane hehe. Everything is so close by in the city — it’d be possible! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
I found out there’s a Bluestone Lane in DC after drooling over your snap and planned a Pilates/brunch date with one of my girlfriends this morning to try it out! Cannot wait and so excited they have a presence outside New York!!
I am dying to go to Bluestone Lane, and it is now at the top of my list!! That avo toast looks ahhhmazing!! Do you know if they have a gluten free option?
These snaps from your phone are so perfect. I always forget how many pictures I take with my phone.

I also loved Eric Carle as a kid! So cool to see that there are still kids reading and loving them.
Love that you are sharing these! So relatable!! I LOVE Target but don’t get to go very often (I’m from Canada). When I lived near the border, my mom and I would go weekly- I’ve since moved farther north. Still love seeing your weekly trips!!
