Would you believe me if I told you I found these little donkeys five minutes from my house?? I was looking for a cute pumpkin place to take outfit photos with a friend and ended up finding this little roadside farm stand. In the back of the parking lot there was a mini-farm with goats, donkeys, and a ton of chickens. The chickens were aggressive, the goats were nonplussed, but the donkeys? As friendly as could be! Honestly they were so sweet. Such a fun surprise to stumble on this friendly pair of donkeys right in our neighborhood.
I loved this fall outfit! Super comfortable and can easily be warmed up with a puffer vest or jacket.
J. Crew sent me this hat as part of a press package and I didn’t know if I could pull it off. Love the idea of hats but they can be hit or miss for me! The reviews are glowing and I fully, fully agree. It’s a beautifully made hat with perfect details and a great fit.
I also want to make a note about my jeans. These are my “wear with boots” jeans. They’re from Talbots and I LOVE them so much. Unfortunately, they run a little big so I get them in petite, even though I’m not petite. As a result, they’re quite cropped… which turns out to be key for wearing with boots! It’s a good alternative to tucking jeans into boots (which I don’t find comfortable) or faking a hemline by cuffing or rolling.

Thanks for the tip on the “wear with boots” jeans! I just got the new Margaux boots and absolutely love them but have been stumped on how to wear them with jeans (which is how I envisioned wearing them most). Maybe all of my jeans are just too long, lol.
