Just Add Denim

We’ve been having the LOVELIEST fall days. Between the peak foliage and the crisp cool (not cold) air, I am one happy lady. Every afternoon, the dogs and I have been going for extra-long walks. We have our normal loop, but I’m taking advantage of these perfect afternoons and going the extra mile. (I know it’s not too long before the three of us are bundled up for these walks!)

I put away all of my summer dresses towards the end of last month, but have a few “transition” dresses that I’ll keep in my closet as long as the weather permits. Most of the time, I’ve still needed a jacket– especially in the morning and once the sun starts to go down. A denim jacket instantly makes an outfit seem more fall-y.

This dress is unfortunately sold out in just about every size (it’s still available in a couple of petite sizes here), but I found another similar option that would also look great with a denim jacket.

I also love the juxtaposition between a feminine, flowy dress with a classic, low-key denim jacket.
