Before you start judging me for the fact that a) I don’t have on a coat in these photos and b) I have bare ankles… please note that we got stuck in an out-of-the-blue snow squall. Seriously, it was blue skies, then dark, then snowy for maybe nine minutes? Then blue skies again. I WAS NOT PREPARED!!!
We went under cover hoping the snow wouldn’t be visible but it picked up with such intensity that it didn’t matter where you were. I could do nothing but laugh… and then run to my car.
I have been living in either this exact outfit, or an outfit very similar. I have to say, these sneakers might have been the best purchase I made last year. I love my Supergas because they’re just a go-to classic canvas sneak and I wear them often. But these are just slightly trendier– especially with the pop of green.
They also have a rainbow version that I think would be so fun in the summertime. Maybe not the most practical for the types of outfits I wear, but just something to put on your radar.
I also covet my Dudley Stephens fleeces all winter. They gave me this one in December and, considering green is fast becoming my favorite color to wear, you know it’s been in heavy rotation.

Hi! Do these tops run true to size? Thanks so much!
I find that they run true to size– but if you’re unsure or worried, size up!
I love this look, Carly. It’s comfy & casual but also classy & stylish!

ah that’s such bad luck!! I just bought my 4th pair of supergas haha! They’re the perfect travel trainer. Also, loving the hair in this post and that green on you 🙂 x

Love your green sweater! I thrifted a men’s green Timberland quarter zip sweater for $5 a few years ago and it’s still one of my favourites. I wear green so much that I’ve started seeing it as a neutral hahh
I am home in MN for a bit, and OMG my DS fleeces have been saving me in this snowy, subzero tundra! The green is so perfect!! I love that I can dress them up and down!

I love that fleece! The neckline & emerald green is perfect and I love how you styled this casual look with the headband 🙂 x shannon • http://www.essellesse.com
Love that green color! I’ve been seeing more and more people wearing green lately and I’m loving it! Also really like who you styled this look with the headband to dress it up a bit.

Your monogram bag is so cute, Carly. I love this comfy look 🙂
Really love your hair in this, it looks great wavy!
Oh, I like your look!
Think about clothes, not about the individual pieces. You want a wardrobe full of clothes that go with everything: a neutral Dudley Stephens fleece, frame jeans are go-tos. proofreading and editing Services
