kate spade new york
home pop-up store
411 west broadway
open now through may 31
If you live in new York City or if you’re planning on being in the city this spring, you absolutely have to put the new Kate Spade home pop up shop on your to do list. Located in Soho (one block away from the huge Ladurée!), it’s the perfect location for an entire afternoon of shopping.
I had seen a few sneak peeks of the pop up store on Snapchat and Instagram, but let me just say…. the photos, including mine, don’t do it justice. The space is huge and it’s filled with the cutest little details everywhere. (My favorite was the a painted welcome mat in front of a tiny mouse hole in the kitchen.)
The pop up shop features all of their home goods: the insanely gorgeous furniture, the cutest kitchen items, stationery, and bedding.
I honestly had to practice a lot of self-restraint in there. Sometimes when I see things in person, I realize it’s not for me. Unfortunately this was not the case here. I wanted it all even more! Especially this couch– it’s beautiful.
I ended up getting a few dishes and a kettle!
The whole pop up shop feels like a home you’d want to move into. In fact, I wondered if I could move in there!
THIS. DESK. THOUGH. Really stole the show in my opinion!
