The leopard trend is back full-force this fall! It’s something I’ve dipped my toe into over the years but never fully leaned into. Similar to bows, I think leopard is a print that’s easy to get wrong but so good when it’s right. I’ve typically stuck to leopard accessories in the past, but I’m considering going out of my comfort zone… Could this shift dress be any more chic? (Alternatively, there’s this longer dress with 3/4-length sleeves, which is made out of the exact same fabric.) And this quilted jacket! The silhouette is definitely “Carly.” I’ll take one in every color, please! For something more tailored, this pocket jacket is polished while still making a statement.
Jenna Lyons once said that leopard is a neutral, and I have to agree. Can it look overdone? Definitely. But overall it’s surprisingly versatile. I’ve been reminded of just how much so while curating all of these products! One of my favorites in the collage is these Mary-janes, which you can wear with SO much. I’ve never been able to resist a leopard flat (see here, here, here, and here), and I’m such a fan of that silhouette right now.
There are a lot of budget-friendly ways to incorporate the leopard trend into your wardrobe as well. J.Crew Factory has the cutest $40 slip skirt and comfortable ankle-strap heels for $70. Though obviously not the same, you can definitely “get your fix” for this Sezane bag with this $60 shoulder bag. I don’t own many (maybe any?!) short-sleeve cardigans, but this $70 one is priced right and has great reviews. And for just a pop of leopard, I’m loving this $48 silk scarf.
I love the small ways you can incorporate it in your style like with a belt, shoe or bag! Super cute!
