I feel my best self in jeans and a tee (or sweater when it’s cold out). Unfussy, uncomplicated. More often than not, I’m wearing something along these lines, especially if I’m working from home. (In fact, whenever I come home from anywhere I almost immediately change into jeans. I posted that onto my Instagram stories once and people were horrified… but to me, jeans are just so comfortable and easy.)
I know it’s still pretty hot out, but I like the idea of keeping a cardigan with me, especially if I’m going to be traveling or going to a restaurant (why are restaurants always freezing?!). This particular one is sold out, but I found a nearly identical version. And if you prefer a long-sleeved version, I recommend this style.
I think Jenna Lyons was right when she proclaimed leopard a neutral. Even if the weather doesn’t feel like fall just yet, leopard touches instantly make an outfit feel a little more autumnal.
I picked up this v-neck tee and really love it. It’s on the slouchier side and feels so good on. It also looks great with workout leggings for a casual errand look.
Anyway… nothing special at all here. Just a real life outfit with basics I reach for week after week!

I love long jeans and can’t wait until it’s cool enough to wear them out! A few weeks ago there was a slight dip in temp, and even though it wasn’t enough to pull out long jeans, I pulled them out anyway because I was so excited. I ended up being really hot that day haha.
