UPDATE: Giveaway is over… The winner is, Mary O’Malley!
So I’ve been going through my closets trying to do one last sweep before I have to start to pack for our move. Let’s just say, I have accumulated a lot of things in the past three years and despite frequent closet clean outs, it’s still a bit out of control. Last weekend, I went through a bag that contained other bags (whoops… felt a bit like Mary Poppins pulling all kinds of totes out…) and realized that I had a beautiful Lilly for Target weekender bag.
It’s really so cute! I have the similar tote and it’s such a fun, bright oh-so-Lilly print. I’ve never used it (still has tags) and I want to make sure it goes to a great home!!!
All you have to do to enter to win is to leave a comment on this post with what your perfect weekend getaway destination would be! (Make sure that the account you’re signed in with is linked to your preferred email… or be sure to include an email address in the comment too so I can contact you if you win!)

My perfect weekend getaway would be Hilton Head SC with a couple of good friends.
My perfect getaway would be a visit home once the Fall semester starts. With seven classes, an on-campus job, an internship I love, and a position as an ambassador/tour guide for prospective students of my college, I won't be able to go home often (if at all). But that would be my ideal weekend getaway. 🙂
I would love to go to Bilbao, Spain. I spent a semester there. I would bring my three best friends with me, along with my long distance boyfriend so that he could experience my Spanish home! It would be a short trip, but a worthwhile one to be in one of my favorite spots in the world with my favorite people.

I've been dying to fit it into my budget to take a weekend trip from North Carolina to Florida to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Disney World!

Hands down Bermuda! I grew up there and always love going back down for the weekend, especially with cup match coming up!
I would love a weekend in Charleston!
To Portland with my bestie!

My perfect weekend would be floating the Comal river in New Braunfels, Texas with lots of friends. Preferably it would be in the high 80s and just the right amount of sunny. In the evening there would be a barbeque under the big Texas sky and I'm starting to really want to make this weekend a reality… haha!
My perfect weekend getaway would most definitely be Clearwater Beach! I love to spend time with my family with salty hair and sandy feet.
Anywhere with a sandy beach and a sunny sky!
With that pretty print? Santa Barbara!

My perfect weekend getaway would be to New Braunfels, TX to float the river and go to a concert!
My perfect weekend getaway would be Boca Grande! It is so cute {and extremely preppy}. They have an adorable inn and everyone uses golf carts on the island because there are no gas stations. It honestly feels much more like New England than Florida.

St. Croix would be fine by me 🙂
Love getting away from DC and going to the wineries in Charlottesville, VA. [black.julie (@) gmail.com]
Would love to head to Chicago again for a weekend getaway. Didn't get to do everything we wanted the first time around back in May. Love that bag! 🙂
Just in case, my email is: [email protected]
I would totally take it to the beach in Delaware! It's become my new favorite place since moving to Baltimore 🙂
P.S. I would need to check out the new Lilly Pulitzer store in Chicago!
I would totally take it to the beach in Delaware! It's become my new favorite place since moving to Baltimore 🙂
Tybee Island! So pretty but still close to Savannah!
We're landlocked in the Midwest, so my perfect weekend getaway would be to the ocean somewhere. My daughters have never seen it and I would love to share with them that awe-inspiring experience.
Chicago is our perfect weekend getaway. We live in MI so we go there a lot. It's such a fun city to visit.
[email protected]
I would love to see St. Lucia. I have heard it is amazing!
As a college student of a school located in the middle of nowhere (s/o to Ithaca, NY!), I would certainly use this bag any opportunity I had to escape. Cornell is almost exactly half way between Toronto and NYC, and my friends and I already have trips planned to both this fall (Hello TSwift in Toronto!!). I know for a fact that this bag would certainly beat out the ratty Target nylon carry on I had to buy when I came home from a vacation with quite a bit more than I left with.
Perfect getaway for my husband and I is South Beach, FL. Fun & all the sun possible.
[email protected]
My perfect weekend getaway would be Naples, Florida! Or anywhere with sand. sun, good friends, and great shopping 🙂 Also a place with mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Oh and my email is [email protected]!
Hawaii!
Definitely San Francisco! So much to do, great food, and best weather!
My perfect weekend getaway would be a weekend spent in low key Montauk – if only I lived in NYC instead of DC, it would be so much more doable on a regular basis!
Honestly, NYC! I've only been there once.. But it was cold and rainy. I absolutely loved it though. We did everything near Times Square that we could. I'd love to go around Christmas though! So cool! I feel like there's so much more to explore (different parks and places near NYU that I didn't get to see. Even the Hamptons would be cool for a beach weekend) You are probably the expert since you're living in New York hehe. (email: [email protected])
My perfect weekend getaway would be Mackinaw Island, MI!

My perfect weekend getaway would be a trip to Marco Island with my mama!
My favorite weekend getaway would have to be Savannah, GA. It's my little Oasis away from home (: I live in NC so my favorite weekend getaways are on the east coast. Savannah is not only beautiful, but it's historic and rich with culture, not to mention the FOOD 😉 And you can even take a little getaway from your getaway and head out to Hilton Head for the day!
Now I have to stop talking about it before I call in sick to work and hit the road, ha!
[email protected]
Would be great for a weekend wedding in Park City, Utah! Not a beachy spot but would be a fun pop of color for one last summer weekend away!

To the mountains! Especially during the fall somewhere like Asheville, NC would be ideal.

My perfect weekend would be spent in Kenneybunkport Maine. It's such a cute New England seaside town. Since it's such a small town with no large hotels it doesn't attract too many tourists which I love. You just feel right at home with the locals.
I'd love to spend a summer weekend in Mackinac Island!
My perfect weekend getaway destination would be St. Louis. I have family that lives there, and there's SOOO much to do there!! Between the touristy places, and the places the locals go, there's never a dull moment. 🙂
I used to live in northeast Pennsylvania so NYC was always a perfect weekend getaway for me. I spent probably a weekend every month to every other month in the City. I honestly miss being under two hours away.
Now I live in central Florida so my new go to destination is Charleston. I've visited several times before and it's definitely my favorite city in the country, it now it's just a car ride away and perfect for a weekend. There is so much history and so much to do there.
[email protected]
I would love to getaway to New York City! It is one of my favorite places and I would love to see a show or two and several new restaurants!
Perfect weekend would be to the Outer Banks of NC
As a Central FL native displaced to Texas, my heart is still in the South. My perfect getaway is Savannah/Tybee Island, GA; where there's history, sun and sand.
A drive up to Asheville once the temperatures start to drop and the leaves are changing! A weekend in the mountains trying out local restaurants and breweries sounds absolutely perfect.
([email protected]
My perfect weekend getaway destination would have to be Oyster Bay. I've been going by boat ever since I can remember, and I absolutely adore it there. The town is just oh so adorable and the amount of history that one town holds is crazy!
My perfect weekend getaway would be florida! Actually I'm trying to book a trip there soon to visit my godson! 🙂
Definitely Charleston, SC. My boyfriend and I made a day trip during the winter, but a full weekend including some time at the beach sounds just perfect! ([email protected])
My perfect (long) weekend getaway would be to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with a group of friends!! I love going on trips with a mix of college friends, New York pals, & new faces of friends of friends who all come together to have a great time! Jackson Hole has something for everyone, be it snowshoeing and taking in gorgeous views for the non skier or crushing powder runs on blue squares and black diamonds for the more adventure seeking skier. Highly recommended as a trip sure to please all!
Without a doubt, my favorite weekend getaway is Watch Hill, Rhode Island. It's a preppy, east coast, charming destination with one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited.

My perfect weekend getaway is wine country!
My perfect weekend getaway would be to Boston- such a lovely city in the summer! (:
xo,
Laura

My perfect weekend trip would be to Vail, Colorado! The summer weather is beautiful, especially because it isn't humid!
I'd love a weekend getaway to Austin, TX! The restaurants, sights, and nightlife make it the perfect spot for a weekend away – not to mention the gorgeous weather year-round.
My perfect weekend would definitely be a quick trip with shopping and maybe a trip to a zoo. No place in mind, just somewhere kinda close! 🙂
My perfect weekend getaway would be Genoa (I'm an American college student working in Germany for the summer and the idea of a perfect little Italian fishing town being only an hour away by plane is just WAY too tempting!!)
This summer, I have been dying to check out the Hamptons or Nantucket!
My perfect summer weekend getaway would be a trip to Charleston!! I have been dying to get down there!!

I grew up in Florida but the Keys are soooo far south I'm just now finally getting the chance to go down there for a long weekend! ncrblogging @ gmail.com
A weekend trip to Charleston! [email protected]
My perfect getaway is anywhere there is water, quiet and books! Any beach or lake can make me happy!

my perfect weekend getaway would definitely have to be disney world with my family! I would love to relive my childhood memories for the weekend!
My perfect weekend getaway would probably be to go to the Hamptons with my sister. We always have a great time together but we haven't been on a vacation together in over a year.
Hi Carly,
The perfect getaway would be to Brewster on Cape Cod. It's where my family vacationed as I grew up and I'd love to revisit with everyone as adults!

I have JUST started following your blog… I can't believe I have been in the dark so long! I can't wait to try your tips and tricks during my first year of college this fall! My dream getaway would be to the west coast in a bright red convertible. Driving along the ocean, stopping, shopping, eating, and driving whenever I want! And being able to come home relaxed and wishing for more! My email is: [email protected]
The Surf Lodge in Montauk! Can't imagine anywhere more beachy, fun, classy and relaxing
I was fortunate enough to spend this past weekend in Cinque Terre, Italy, which would probably be my perfect weekend getaway if I lived in Italy all year! While I live in the states, Big Sur, California is my favorite spot to hide out for a weekend!
Peace, Sarah

My perfect getaway weekend is happening in a few weeks. My boyfriend is treating me for graduation and starting my new job in NYC. I can't wait to take my first vacation post-grad. Time to relax and soak up the sun will be perfect after a few months in the hustle and bustle of the city.
My perfect weekend destination would be Sag Harbor to check out the new hotel Baron's Cove!
The ideal getaway would be a quick trip to San Francisco, CA. With so much culture and so many one of a kind spots, it would be the perfect escape from the day to day for this East Coast girl.
My go-to getaway is the beach with a few friends and my pup of course! Lots of good food and great novels included. 🙂
my perfect getaway weekend would be catalina island!
I would LOVE to go back to Europe, however, I don't see a weekend being long enough (with traveling time & jet-lag!), so my perfect weekend getaway would have to be to Boston! It has to be my favorite city and I would love to explore it again for a weekend!
My perfect weekend getaway would be to the Oregon Coast! I live in Montana, so I miss the beach!
My perfect weekend away would be….driving up to Seattle along the California/Oregon coast with my best friends. I know we would listen to our favorite Spotify playlists, have friendly arguments over who is better — Beyonce or Rihanna (Beyonce, obviously!) — play Head's Up, constantly be pulling over to take the *perfect* Instagram shot, and enjoy the silence of each others company as we soak in the beauty of the great North Western outdoors. THAT, would be the perfect weekend getaway.
Thanks for letting us share Carly 🙂
My perfect getaway would be to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia!

Carmel by the Sea. Possibly my favorite place.
My perfect weekend getaway would be a weekend with my friends on a beach in Florida! We are all so busy all the time, so it would be great to take a couple of days off and relax!

My perfect getaway would be Door County, Wisconsin…
You're thinking Wisconsin… what…? Informally known as the Cape Cod of the Midwest, Door County sits on beautiful Lake Michigan where cute towns sit about 20 minutes apart from each other along the Great Lake. With a drive in theater from the 60's, amazing hiking, and cute boutiques & coffee shops- it's a hidden treasure. The best part? Less than 6 hours from Minneapolis, I get my fill of the East Coast without even having to leave my time zone.

My perfect weekend getaway is a quiet, quick trip to South Padre Island!
My perfect weekend get-away would be to Mackinac Island in Michigan. It's just a short trip from my home outside of Chicago. Mackinac Island is a pedestrian only island so you have to take a ferry to get there! While you're there, its all bed and breakfasts and riding bikes and walking around small boutiques and restaurants…and the beach isn't too far away! It's the perfect weekend for a little romance or a fun little bachelorette party. It reminds me a lot of small towns in the Northeast like Cape Cod or Nantucket…just in the Midwest!

My perfect weekend getaway is Jackson Hole, WY because it's just so beautiful!
My perfect weekend getaway would be a trip to Chicago to visit all my friends from college! 🙂

I would use this weekender tote to visit my fiancé in St. Louis. It's been rough this past year being apart – he's in grad school and I'm in Milwaukee. This bag would be the perfect accessory and designated "visit Cody" bag! [email protected]
LA! And I'm going next week!
I would LOVE a nice little weekend away on Michigan's west coast! A cute little beach house up in Traverse City is just calling my name. LOL THanks for the fun giveaway! 🙂
My perfect weekend get away would be to go to Carlsbad, CA. Sit on the beach with a large diet coke and a good book my my hand. Eat Mexican food and burgers for every meal. And swim until my skin is a straight prune. Nothing sounds dreamier right now.

The keys or the coast of South Carolina! Traveled to both recently and I'm already dying to go back…so relaxing.
Hi Carly! My perfect weekend getaway would be getting out of Boston for the weekend and heading down to the Cape!
After visiting Montauk for the first time, I was hooked. I must make a return trip ASAP!

The beach would be my preferred destination, anywhere!
demureprincess7(at)gmail(dot)com
My perfect weekend getaway would definitely be Marblehead, MA. It's an old sea side town which means lots of character and most importantly good fresh sea food! My favorite part would be the little shops, though. There aren't a whole lot of chain stores, so the chances of finding one of a kind gems are great. There are lots of old mansions with beautiful gardens and tons of narrow meandering streets to wander through. In the summer, the temperature is perfect for bruches out on the patio and in the fall it's like a painting come to life!

It's my last year living in Vermont, and being so close to Montreal! I"ve been trying to go up to the city as much as possible, Like the Jazz festival, The Women's World Cup, and the Osheaga music festival. My plan for the winter is to skate on top of Mount Royale and not turn into a human Popsicle!
My perfect weekend getaway would be the Pocono mountains. It's only a few hours away, but special enough for a weekend trip.
I love going to Lake Michigan beaches for getaways. [email protected]
