ON MY RADAR 1.27.23

This has been an incredibly hard week. I know I’m vague-blogging and I hope you can forgive me. I just don’t have a ton of brain power at the moment. I really try not to wish away time, but I found myself just counting down the days until this week was over. Woof. Anyway, feeling like we truly survived this week. Grateful for the weekend to be here.

Had to share these Amazon shoes– they are really great! I had a similar pair that I loved, but after I had Jack my right foot grew just enough to make me outgrow some of my shoes. Happy to have a comfortable replacement.

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // New-to-Me Style Inspo Account

I stumbled on the Instagram account of Sylvie Mus (I think from clicking through Pinterest) and I am obsessed with her style! I could never pull off her effortlessly chic looks, but I found myself saving different outfits of hers to try to draw inspiration from. So, so chic.

TWO // The Edie Bag is BACK

J. Crew’s Edie bag is BACK. This iconic bag was a staple of mine when I was young and living in NYC. I was so careful with how I spent my money and the Edie was truly the perfect handbag splurge for me at the time. I was thrilled to see J. Crew update it and bring it back– I couldn’t believe it’s already been ten years.

THREE // FLOWER Magazine’s Atlanta Showhouse

Wow! I just love looking at tours of beautiful homes and this one is a work of art. It’s not exactly what I choose for my own home, but it’s hard to watch this tour and not be inspired by something. I love all the different mixes of patterns and colors. The actual architectural design of the home and the landscaping are both exquisite as well. My favorite space is the “her dressing room.”

FOUR // Reversible Quilted Jacket

I am obsessed with this reversible quilted jacket (and love the matching dress if you have a little girl to “twin” with). I saw this online somewhere and clicked through and was kind of shocked to see where it was from.

FIVE // Your Place Or Mine

This rom-com starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher looks so, so cute. It’s coming out on Netflix on February 10. Can’t wait to make a bowl of popcorn and watch. Anyone else feeling like there just aren’t as many good movies out there right now?! We were due for a cute one and I hope it lives up to my expectations!

I am so sorry you had a rough week. No explanation needed, we all go through tough things! Praying for a grace over your weekend. I certainly need it too! It seemed to me like everything on hold over the holidays hit me like a ton of bricks this week…mental, physical, emotional!!! 🙏

If you’re looking for a good movie, I’d suggest The Whale. It isn’t an upbeat movie and quite sad, but omg so so so good! Brendan Fraser deserves all the awards!
